HGV Auto Braking Proximity Revering System Install On Trustseal Ltd Road Sweeper – Day 3 !

With the Auto Brake System now installed – We can carry out some formal testing.

With the reverse radar only (we can add forward & side sensors) the system is designed to review the rear of the vehicle, monitoring obstacles up to 1.5 metres away. An In Cab Warning Display for the driver alerts as the vehicle gets closer to any obstacles, with the brakes being automatically applied to stop the vehicle before IMPACT! (In this case a traffic cone). Also, the vehicle will be passing through obstacles left & right of the vehicle, this is test the accuracy of the radar and not to incorrectly apply the brakes.

Result – PASSED!

Final test & sign off in the next few days.

HGV Auto Braking Proximity Revering System Install On Trustseal Ltd Road Sweeper – Day 2 !

With repairs completed to the Radar Mounting area, the Radar and vehicle programming are well underway.

Once completed the system will be under test & approval.

Coming towards the end of the install, we will hope to have some sample videos of the system under final test.
